Typically, the venue schedules performances from the fall through spring, with an excellent range of categories to choose from. Notables among those include renowned performers such as the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra and popular musicals like A Beautiful Noise - The Neil Diamond Musical and The Bodyguard - The Musical, among others. The venue is set to host 29 upcoming events through 2027, promising an exciting season ahead.

Seating Information

The Clay Center features a thoughtfully designed seating arrangement which is optimized for both comfort and visibility. The best sections for viewing performances are typically located in the front rows of the lower level, offering an unobstructed view of the stage and a more immersive experience. These sections not only provide fantastic sightlines but also elevate the overall enjoyment of the event.

Conversely, the upper-level seats may offer a less favorable experience, as they can be further away from the action, particularly for larger productions. However, these sections often provide a more economical option for attendees looking to enjoy a performance without a premium price tag.

Parking Information

Parking around the Clay Center can be straightforward with various options available. The best recommended parking spot is the Clay Square Parking Lot, located at 123 Clay Square, which offers reasonable rates typically ranging from $5 to $10 per event. This facility is ideally situated within walking distance of the venue, ensuring convenience for patrons.

It is advisable, however, to avoid parking near the busy street corners around the venue, as these areas can lead to potential congestion and limited space availability. Taking note of peak times when attending events can enhance the overall experience by ensuring ample parking time.
