New M&S Foodhalls Set to Open in London Before Christmas
Marks and Spencer (M&S) is set to launch two new Foodhall supermarkets in London before Christmas, with locations confirmed for Clapham Common and the former Whole Foods Market site on Fulham Broadway, both opening in November. Additionally, the Chiswick store will reopen in early December following renovations. This announcement follows the recent opening of a 5,300 square foot Foodhall in Covent Garden, and the reopening of Foodhalls in Temple Fortune and Wimbledon.
These developments are part of M&S's 90 million investment in London, which includes six new Foodhall openings and upgrades to 11 existing stores, resulting in the creation of over 200 jobs. The upgraded stores will feature bakery and coffee counters, as well as a market-style produce section with fresh items from M&S Select Farms. Retail Director Thinus Keeve expressed enthusiasm for enhancing the shopping experience and expanding M&S's presence in the capital.
